DIRECTIONS

Our community is located near the intersections of Highways 55 and 64, about two miles north of downtown Apex that in the years before the Civil War was once dubbed "The Peak of Good Living" because it stood at the highest point on the Chatham Railroad between Richmond, Va., and Jacksonville, Fla. Those old lines are long gone, but the moniker stuck and became the town motto. The city's prosperity and growth is now tied not to trains but to a growing army of suburban commuters. Apex is a desirable place to live for many because of a central location that puts all of the Triangle within reach. Research Triangle Park, Durham, Raleigh, Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Chapel Hill are all a 30-minute drive away, or less, depending on traffic. This fall, trips to RTP turned faster and smoother thanks to the recently completed expansion of N.C. 55. In time, the extension of the Western Wake County Freeway will give workers at RTP a direct route to work free of traffic lights. Walden Townes HOA Bulletin Board Policy
The Walden Townes Bulletin Board will be used to promote neighborhood programs, events and services and to provide timely HOA information to residents. Walden Townes HOA Board has full authority over its use and will monitor the bulletin board to remove old notices and block inappropriate items. Any unauthorized items hung outside of the board will be removed.
The following guidelines will keep the bulletin board current and attractive:
• All items will be posted and removed by board members, block captains or committee chairs. To get an item posted, contact one of them for approval.
• Items will be displayed in available space on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Event notices may be posted no more than two weeks before the event and must be removed the day after.
