Car Theft
Date: May 20, 2010
To The Walden Townes Community:
This letter is to inform you that we had a vehicle break in, as well as one stolen, during the evening of May 18th through the early morning of the 19th, in our community. If anyone has seen anything suspicious or even out of the ordinary during that time period please call the Apex Police Department with the reference to the “vehicle break in / stolen in Walden Townes.
The Apex Police Department advises that all vehicles parked outside be locked, windows shut, and all valuables be removed or hidden out of sight. There have been a number of vehicle break-ins and burglaries within the Town of Apex in the past several months.
Please be alert to any activity you may see as suspicious or out of the ordinary, as you know it, and report it to the Police Department immediately. We must monitor our community as we monitor our homes and properties.

Irrigation and Watering
Members of Walden Townes:
Our lawns are stressed due to the current high temperatures. We suggest watering in addition to nightly irrigation. The Town of Apex permits watering of lawns as follows:
• Even-numbered units, on WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY AND SUNDAY;
• Odd-numbered units, on TUESDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAY;
• Hand watering on TUESDAY through SUNDAY; and
• No watering on MONDAYS.
Please consider watering in the morning or later in the afternoon or early evening to maintain the appearance of your lawn.
Thank You,
Walden Townes Board of Directors
